Dear Parents/Caregivers,

We are excited to announce that the school will be hosting a Multicultural Day event for all Grade 9 Homerooms on May 10th. This event aims to celebrate the diverse cultures represented within our school community. We believe that fostering an appreciation for cultural diversity is essential for creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all students.

As part of our Multicultural Day festivities, we invite students to bring in a cultural dish to share with their classmates. We kindly ask that the ingredients used in the dish be listed on a sheet of paper to ensure the safety of students with food allergies. Additionally, if your child will be performing a cultural dance, song, or any other form of expression, please inform us in advance.

In the spirit of celebrating cultural diversity, students are encouraged to wear attire that represents their cultural heritage on this day. Whether it's traditional clothing, accessories, or other culturally significant attire, we welcome students to showcase their heritage proudly.

To assist us in organizing the event effectively, we kindly request that you fill out the attached form indicating whether your child will be participating in the Multicultural Day activities and, if so, the nature of their participation (e.g., bringing a dish, performing, wearing cultural attire). 

Please return the completed form (students have received a hardcopy) to your Homeroom teacher by May 6th.
